10 weird things couples do in long term relationship

There comes a point in everyone’s relationship where things just get weird. The level of weird is completely normal to the two of you but to onlookers and friends, it’s almost unacceptable behavior. Here are some things couples in long-term relationships do that are a tad bit weird to the outside world.

1. You know exactly how to annoy each other

You know exactly what to say/do to in order to piss each other off and you do it quite often because it's just so much fun.

2. Your bodily smells are no longer a gray area

After a certain period of time, farts and burps just become amusing. On second thought, the ones that don’t smell like a decaying body or a fresh pile of crap, are amusing. Throughout the course of your relationship, the importance of hiding your farts and excusing your burps have slowly dwindled down because you both are more comfortable with each other. It is just another step deeper into a long-term relationship and this step is inevitable, so don’t try to stop it.

3. You give each other the weirdest nicknames

"BooBoo Honey Face," "Boner Pants," "Shmoopadoop," "Juicy Top," and "Pepper Jelly." These are just a handful of the magical nicknames we call each other in private.

4. Farting Without Hesitation

As you spend all that time with your significant other eventually you're going to let slip some smelly, and noisy gases in the company of your partner. Luckily, this isn't an issue for you and your partner. It's just natural bodily functions and you two get that about each other.

5. You've tried on each other's clothes

Although my giant/luscious hips can't fit into my man's jeans, he has gotten drunk and put on one of my bras and ran around the house yelling, "I'm Laura! I have boobs! HAHAHAHA/*puke*." Don't worry, I got it all on tape.

6. You have no problem talking about disgusting things

You've come to accept the fact that you are both human and that you both have gross bodily functions. You now have absolutely no problem discussing said bodily functions.

7. You can communicate telepathically

There are weird things that you do with your eyes when you are both at social gatherings, getting stopped by salespeople or in a crowded place somewhere. There are expressions that mean stay away, I’m having a bad day, I”m hungry. If one of you suddenly lost the ability to either talk or hear, both of you will be fine off of facial expressions.

8. You use the bathroom at the same time

Showers are great. There's no arguing it. They are warm and comforting and energising at the same time. Not to mention nothing beats that clean feeling and fragrant smell. But showering with your partner brings it to a new level. It saves time, water, and it's just simply more convenient and enjoyable. But she loves HOT WATEERR!!

9. You don't need to go to fancy dinners to have a great night

You're perfectly happy staying in and watching funny cat videos all night in your pajamas while eating a Domino's pizza. In fact, you actually prefer that over going out.

10. Tickling

Tickling your partner gives you a fun time and also a laugh to your partner without any reason. This is something that every couple likes to do.
